The 1. Carneval-Verein Pirmasens is one of the traditional carnival clubs in the region. A particular strength of the CVP session is its opulent dance program. More than 150 'Gardemädels' and show dance groups from Baden and the Palatinate participate in the session. 'Büttenredner' and Musical Contributions
In addition to dance, the 'Büttenreden' are the traditional core of every Prunksitzung. 'Kinderfasnacht' on the Following Day
On February 8, 2026, the day after the Prunksitzung, the CVP 'Kinderfasnacht' takes place in the same Festhalle. The club thus creates a complete weekend for Pirmasens carnival enthusiasts of all generations — from the little ones in costumes to the tradition-conscious carnival-goers.
