The Creußener Kerwa is the traditional Kirchweih (church fair) of the town of Creußen in the district of Bayreuth. Every year in September, the Großer Zimmerplatz transforms into an amusement park, Kerwa specialties are served in the restaurants, and the Jug Museum, a festive church service, and a Sunday with open shops round off the program. For several days, the whole town celebrates a convivial Volksfest (folk festival) with Franconian customs between the Fränkische Schweiz and the Fichtelgebirge.

The Creußener Kerwa 2026 is expected to take place from September 17 to 21, 2026. Following the proven pattern of previous years (3rd week of September), the Großer Zimmerplatz will once again transform into an amusement park, complemented by a festive church service, the Jug Museum, and Sunday shopping.

The Creußener Kerwa 2026 is expected in the third week of September according to the established rhythm – presumably from Thursday, September 17, to Monday, September 21, 2026 (date to be confirmed by the town of Creußen). Previous years show a stable pattern: 2025 from September 18–22, 2024 from September 12–16, 2023 from September 14–18.
