Beer festival with craft breweries, live music, and food trucks at the market square
Since its premiere, the Craft Beer Days have become a firm fixture in Osterholz-Scharmbeck's event calendar. The focus is on the craft brewing art of small and medium-sized breweries from Northern Germany and beyond. Unlike traditional folk festivals (Volksfeste) with industrial beers, here the emphasis is on aroma, character, brewing philosophy, and personal contact with the brewers.
Around 15 craft breweries will be represented at the market square. The range includes hop-heavy IPAs, Belgian-inspired varieties, dark stouts, and experimental beers aged in fruit, wood barrels, or with wild yeast. Tasting glasses allow visitors to sample the variety of beers and chat with the brewers.
Regional bands will perform on a stage, while food trucks and snack stands will offer burgers, BBQ, vegan specialties, fries, and sweet snacks. Tables and benches create a convivial atmosphere. The festival runs daily from 4 PM to 10 PM and is exclusively for adults.
The 7th edition of the festival brings craft brewing to the market square. Tasting glasses allow for a flavorful journey through the variety of beers from participating breweries.
A stage with live music and a selection of food trucks complete the festival experience.
The exact program for 2026 will be published by the organizer in spring. The structure follows the proven cornerstones of previous years: around 15 breweries, live music, and food truck offerings.
