Neutraubling Civic Festival — Double Jubilee 2026

Neutraubling is a young city in the Regensburg district in the Bavarian administrative region of Upper Palatinate, southeast of the city of Regensburg. In 2026, it is celebrating a remarkable double jubilee: 75 years of municipal foundation and 40 years of city elevation. Both will be celebrated with a grand Bürgerfest in the city center — a festival by citizens for citizens.

A City with a Special History

Neutraubling was established only after World War II on the grounds of a former airbase and was primarily built by expellees. The municipality was founded in 1951, and it was elevated to a city in 1986. The 2026 double jubilee commemorates this rapid development from a post-war settlement to a modern city — a piece of Upper Palatinate contemporary history.
