Pride in Aschaffenburg

Christopher Street Day Aschaffenburg – CSD for short – is the annual highlight of queer visibility work in the Lower Franconian city on the Main. Unlike in the major metropolises, the CSD in Aschaffenburg is distinctly youth-driven: the organizer is the youth initiative rAinBows e.V., which has been bundling the commitment of young LGBTQIA* people in the region for years.

Demonstration and Rally

Assembly is at 11:30 AM in Duccastraße. Afterwards, the demonstration march proceeds through Aschaffenburg's city center to Theaterplatz, where the final rally will take place around 1:00 PM – with speeches, political demands, and a musical program.

Festival at JUKUZ

Afterwards, the action moves to the JUKUZ (Jugend-Kultur-Zentrum – Youth Culture Center), which organizes a large festival from 2:00 PM with music, information booths, food, and drinks. Here, politics and celebration, activism and encounter mingle.

Pride Month Aschaffenburg

The CSD is embedded in Pride Month Aschaffenburg, which encompasses the entire month of June 2026. The program includes film screenings at the Casino-Kino, author readings, lectures on queer-sensitive care, cooking evenings, discussion rounds, and museum contributions on the queer culture of the Weimar Republic. The city itself shines in diverse colors in June.
