55 Years KLJB Mettenheim
The Catholic Rural Youth Association (KLJB) Mettenheim is celebrating its 55th anniversary in 2026 with a large, four-day festival. Mettenheim is located in the Upper Bavarian district of Mühldorf am Inn. The venue is the festival grounds at Autohaus Radlbrunner on the Allee.
The Naming Bulldogziang
The namesake and kick-off of the festival is the Bulldogziang — a traditional tractor pulling competition where "Bulldogs" (Bavarian for tractors) measure their pulling power. A convivial, rural program point that combines rural youth tradition and village festival culture.
Four Days of Celebration
The Bulldogziang on Thursday is followed by an Almrauschparty on Friday, a beer and wine festival on Saturday, and a festive celebration Sunday to conclude. This creates a varied program of competition, party, and traditional festival activities.
Rural Youth Festival Culture
Anniversary festivals of the KLJB are deeply rooted in Bavaria and are supported voluntarily by the local group. The Mettenheim festival is a meeting point for members, alumni, and the entire village community.
