District Festival with Shooting Tradition
The Bürger- und Schützenfest Thiede is more than a classic marksmen's festival – it is the grand district festival of the Salzgitter district of Thiede with the districts of Thiede and Steterburg. The Bürgerfest Thiede GbR, in which three associations combine their expertise, ensures that the festival is celebrated every year with great participation from the entire population. The Arbeitskreis Thiede represents the civic interests of the district, the Bürgerverein Steterburg brings Steterburg's concerns into the joint festival, and the Schützengemeinschaft Thiede ensures the shooting sports tradition.
Club Presentations and Interactive Program
A hallmark of the festival is the presentation of all clubs and institutions from Thiede and Steterburg. Sports, music, cultural, and heritage clubs present themselves at stands, during demonstrations, or with interactive activities. This diversity gives visitors a vivid impression of the cultural and social life of the district and offers newcomers, in particular, an opportunity to connect.
Festival Tent with Disco Atmosphere
The festival tent forms the convivial center of the event. Dance evenings, live concerts, and disco nights take place here. Young and old visitors alike get their money's worth – the musical program is deliberately broad.
