Around ten musicians and solo artists perform at various points along the street – acoustically, often with indie covers or their own compositions. Residents set up paddling pools, a fortune teller offers readings for 30 cents, there's a free fruit buffet with melon slices, and children paint stones or wander through a willow maze.

Model of Solidarity Instead of Event Industry

Unlike the major Leipzig street festivals, there are no commercial stands. The festival operates on donations and the residents' own efforts – a model of solidarity that is catching on in the local subculture.
