Brandenburg's Largest Regional Agricultural Show
BraLa — Brandenburg Agricultural Exhibition — has been held annually since 1991 on the grounds of the MAFZ Erlebnispark Paaren near Schönwalde-Glien in the Havelland district. It is the only supra-regional agricultural show in the state of Brandenburg and sees itself as a joint showcase for the entire agricultural, forestry, and food industry of the state. Over 50,000 square meters of exhibition space, animal rings, halls, and outdoor areas display the diversity of Brandenburg's agricultural world.
The state animal show featuring cattle, sheep, goats, pigs, horses, and poultry is at the center — breeders from all over Brandenburg present their best animals and compete in evaluations and demonstrations. Historic agricultural machinery, modern tractors, combine harvesters, and special machines complement the picture in the outdoor arenas.
BraLa is also the central meeting point for Brandenburg's direct marketing: The pro agro association organizes an extensive market and gastronomy mile with beekeepers, cheese makers, fishers, bakers, winemakers from Werder, and small breweries. Anyone who wants to taste the best of Brandenburg's region — from Beelitz asparagus to Spreewald gherkin jars — will find it here.
With the "BraLa-Campus," a dedicated program format for school classes, trainees, and students has been established: Rallies, learning stations, and career counseling make the agricultural professions tangible — from animal breeders to agricultural machinery mechatronics technicians.
BraLa is a family event: a petting zoo, hands-on activities, riding demonstrations, carriage rides, and a farm to touch characterize the day for children. The MAFZ Erlebnispark, with its animal park, riding arena, and playgrounds, also offers attractive leisure activities outside of BraLa.
BraLa 2026 — the 33rd Brandenburg Agricultural Exhibition — will take place from Friday, May 8, to Sunday, May 10, 2026, at the MAFZ Erlebnispark Paaren. The exhibition will be open daily from 9 AM to 6 PM. Thousands of visitors from Brandenburg, Berlin, and the neighboring federal states are expected. On 50,000 m² of exhibition space, the state animal show, modern agricultural technology, historical equipment, the BraLa Campus for career orientation, and the pro agro market and gastronomy mile will be presented. Day tickets start at €8 (evening), €11 regular, family ticket €30.
