Seven Sundays at the White Tower

The Biberach Rondell Concerts are one of the most atmospheric open-air concert series in the district of Biberach. From August 2 to September 13, 2026, Biberacher Musiknacht e.V. organizes a concert every Sunday at the Stadtgartenrondell — a semi-circular pavilion square in the city garden right next to the White Tower, one of Biberach's medieval landmarks. Seven dates, seven ensembles, a consistently free series.

The Program Across Genres

The Rondell Concerts deliberately focus on musical diversity: from the brass band of the Stadtkapelle Biberach to jazz combos, classical ensembles, folk music groups, folk and world music groups, as well as choir and big band performances — the program reflects the musical breadth of the region and provides a stage for both well-known and emerging ensembles. Concerts typically start in the late afternoon or early evening on Sundays; the Stadtgarten setting with its old trees offers a relaxed atmosphere.

Volunteers, Donations, and Bad Weather Plan

Biberacher Musiknacht e.V. is an association that finances the concert series through purely voluntary work. Free admission — voluntary donations are requested at the exit or via a collection basket during the concert. In case of rain or bad weather, the concert moves to Biberach's Alte Stadtbierhalle, ensuring the series reliably takes place. This makes the Rondell Concerts one of the few open-air series with guaranteed execution in Upper Swabia.

Biberach an der Riß, with around 33,000 inhabitants, is the district capital of the Biberach district, located in southwestern Upper Swabia in the state of Baden-Württemberg. The historic free imperial city with its well-preserved old town, the White Tower, the market square, and the town parish church of St. Martin is an important cultural center in Upper Swabia — known for its annual Schützenfest tradition and vibrant musical life, among other things. The Rondell Concerts complement the city's summer program with an accessible, free, and genre-open series.
