The Bernried Village Festival is the traditional summer festival of the municipality of Bernried in the Deggendorf district of Lower Bavaria. It is celebrated every year in August over four days (Friday to Monday) on the village square and is jointly organized by the local associations. For over four decades, the festival has become a firm fixture in the village calendar.

Bernried Dorffest — edition 2026
The 2026 edition is the 44th Bernried Village Festival and will take place, as every year, in August over four days from Friday to Monday on the village square; following the 43rd festival on August 14th, 2025, the anniversary edition is expected for mid-August 2026 (likely August 14th–17th). It is organized by the associations of the municipality of Bernried. Over the four festival days, live music from various bands and ensembles, catering with regional food and beer, and a supporting program will ensure a festive atmosphere. The exact date and program will be announced by the municipality or the Bernried Tourist Information before the festival. Admission is free.
