Summer Highlight at Borkum's Nordbad
In just a few years, the Beach Days Borkum has grown into one of the summer highlights on the East Frisian Islands. The format combines major concert evenings with beach sports, turning the wide beach at Nordbad into a festival location. With its 7th edition, the North Sea spa town of Borkum, as the organizer, once again relies on a mix of German pop, Schlager, and Mallorca sound – embedded in the island's summer flair.
2026 Program
On Friday, August 7th, the Beach Days will open with a concert by Clueso as part of his Deja-Vu Sommertour. On Saturday, August 8th, another concert is scheduled – artists and details will be announced by the organizer in advance. On Sunday, August 9th, Borkum Olé follows, the big Mallorca party format with Oli P. and Frenzy.
Beach Volleyball ROCK the BEACH
Parallel to the concerts, the event hosts the beach volleyball tournament ROCK the BEACH on the sand. The festival thus combines sporting experience with musical stage presence, creating a weekend offering that appeals equally to islanders, athletes, and festival guests.
Island Experience
Borkum Island is accessible by ferry from Emden Outer Harbour. During the Beach Days, overnight stays and ferry capacity are significantly strained; early booking of tickets, ferry, and accommodation is recommended.
Beach Days Borkum — edition 2026
On the opening night, Clueso, one of Germany's most influential pop artists, will take the stage; his Deja-Vu Sommertour will visit several coastal towns in 2026. Sunday is traditionally dominated by Borkum Olé – with Oli P. and Frenzy, well-known figures of the Mallorca party scene will perform on the beach stage.
The entire weekend is closely integrated with the beach volleyball format ROCK the BEACH: courts will be set up directly at Nordbad, ensuring that sports and music go hand in hand, both spatially and atmospherically.
