Farmers' Market as a Traditional Event

The focus is on produce from local farmers: honey from local beekeepers, sausage and ham from home slaughtering, bread from wood-fired ovens, fruit and vegetables from the Felsenland's scattered orchards and vegetable gardens, cheese, eggs, pickled vegetables, jams, juices, brandies, liqueurs. An offering that showcases the diversity of Palatinate agriculture and provides direct access to the producers.

Old Crafts

In addition to farmers, artisans present their skills: basket weavers show how willow baskets are hand-woven; blacksmiths work at the anvil; potters shape vessels on the potter's wheel; spinners process sheep's wool.
