The Barmstedter Hundemesse takes place at Lake Rantzau, located in the Seepark near the Schlossinsel in the heart of Barmstedt (Schleswig-Holstein). Companies representing every aspect of the dog world—including accessories, nutrition, grooming, training, veterinary services, and more—will be on hand to meet visitors and their four-legged friends. Admission is free.

Second edition following the 2025 debut

Following its successful launch in 2025, the Barmstedter Hundemesse returns for its second year in 2026. The event is organized by the Hamburg-based ATW Agentur Thomas Will (An der Schulkoppel 23, Norderstedt), which has been managing trade fairs, events, and craft markets for over 32 years.

The Seepark at Lake Rantzau connects the Schlossinsel to Barmstedt’s public swimming area and serves as a popular local recreation spot, complete with walking paths, flower beds, and a rhododendron park.
