The 46th Asperg Christmas Market will take place on the first Advent weekend of 2026 – Saturday, November 28, and Sunday, November 29 – on the festively illuminated square in front of St. Michael's Church. Opening on Saturday at 5 p.m. by Mayor Christian Eiberger, accompanied musically by the Asperg town band. The traditional Krambambuli, local community stalls, and arts and crafts make the market special.

The 46th edition of the Asperg Christmas Market runs on the first Advent weekend of 2026: Saturday, November 28, and Sunday, November 29. As every year, the market takes place on the festively illuminated square in front of St. Michael's Church – directly below the Hohenasperg.

Mayor Christian Eiberger will officially open the event on Saturday at 5 p.m., accompanied musically by the Asperg town band. The band will also once again operate the traditional Krambambuli stand with the famous Asperg punch specialty. Local clubs, schools, and kindergartens will offer arts and crafts, food, and drinks. The proceeds will go to the youth and community work of the town of Asperg.

The hallmark of the Asperg Christmas Market is Krambambuli – a traditional, high-proof punch specialty served by the Asperg town band at their own stand. In addition, the stalls offer bratwurst, crêpes, chestnuts, and sweet classics like candied almonds or 'Schmalzgebäck' (traditional pastry).
