4th edition of the art fair with over 70 galleries and artists in the OsnabrückHalle
ARTe is an established series of art fairs that stops in various German cities. It appeals equally to established collectors and art enthusiasts without prior knowledge. With a curated selection of galleries, a clear presentation area, and an accompanying program of guided tours and artist talks, it creates low-threshold access to contemporary art.
In 2026, ARTe will experience its 4th edition in Osnabrück. The format has established itself in the region and is one of the most important art events in Osnabrück's spring calendar. The OsnabrückHalle offers ideal conditions with its open architecture, bright spaces, and good accessibility.
Over 70 galleries and individual artists will present their works on approximately 1,500 square meters. The spectrum ranges from contemporary painting to sculptures made of metal, stone, and mixed media, to printmaking, photography, and installations. Most exhibitors are from Germany; galleries from the Netherlands, Belgium, and Austria are also represented.
Art historian Anette Ochsenwadel guides visitors through selected positions, mediating between artworks and the audience. Her tours are a proven format of ARTe and allow for in-depth engagement. In 2026, the ARTe series also celebrates its 10th anniversary, which will be reflected in a special anniversary program at all fair locations.
The ARTe Osnabrück 2026 marks an anniversary year for the entire ARTe series, which celebrates ten years in 2026. The accompanying program includes a vernissage, guided tours, artist talks, and special events.
