Berlin's longest antique street festival in Charlottenburg-Wilmersdorf — two days for the first time for the 25th anniversary
Suarezstraße is a Berlin specialty: over a few hundred meters in Charlottenburg-Wilmersdorf, between Kantstraße and Charlottenburg Palace, 25 specialized antique, design, and vintage shops have congregated since the 1990s. This density is unique in Germany — a small "Rue de Saint-Ouen" for Berlin and its surroundings.
Once a year in September, the 25 permanent shops transform into an open street festival. Suarezstraße is closed, displays move to the sidewalks and the middle of the street, joined by around 100 invited guest exhibitors — antique dealers from all over Germany and partly from Poland, the Netherlands, and the Czech Republic. Furniture from the Biedermeier (early 19th c.), Gründerzeit, Art Nouveau, Art Deco, Bauhaus, Mid-Century, and 70s Pop eras are showcased on the street. Alongside them, jewelry, porcelain, glass, lamps, mirrors, carpets, paintings, prints, and curiosities.
Charlottenburg-Wilmersdorf is the affluent western district of Berlin — Kurfürstendamm, Charlottenburg Palace, Olympic Stadium. Suarezstraße is located in the quarter behind the palace, at the intersection of Charlottenburg and the Westend district. In 2026, the Antikmeile celebrates its 25th anniversary — an occasion for the first 2-day format of the event series. Since 2022, the Antikmeile also awards signed, limited screen prints by well-known artists and illustrators every year — collector's items in themselves.
On the asphalt between Spandauer Damm and Sophie-Charlotte-Platz, you'll find Biedermeier secretaries, Bauhaus chairs, Mid-Century lamps, and 70s design classics. Alongside them, jewelry, porcelain, prints, and curiosities. For the anniversary, a new signed screen print will be released in a limited edition.
The 25th Antikmeile Suarezstraße 2026 takes place on Saturday, September 5th and Sunday, September 6th, 2026, from 12 PM to 8 PM each day, on Suarezstraße in the Charlottenburg-Wilmersdorf district. First two-day format for the 25th anniversary. Free admission.
Food trucks and stalls from Suarezstraße's gastronomy along the street — crêperies, wine stands from Charlottenburg wine merchants, street food.
Free admission on both days. Food and drinks available at stalls along the street. The signed special edition screen print will be sold at a central booth. Getting there: U7 Adenauerplatz or U2 Sophie-Charlotte-Platz, each a 10-minute walk.
Subway U7 to Adenauerplatz or U2 to Sophie-Charlotte-Platz, each a ten-minute walk. Bus M49 also to Suarezstraße. By car via the Spandauer Damm axis — parking around the closed street is very limited.
Free admission on both days. Open daily from 12 PM to 8 PM. Food and drinks available at stalls along the street. The special edition screen print can be purchased at a central booth.
