A Club Festival with Tradition

Fire brigade festivals have a long tradition in the Palatinate communities. They are not only social events but also an important building block for financing the voluntary work of the fire brigades. The Altleiningen Fire Brigade Festival follows this tradition and is organized by the Altleiningen Volunteer Fire Brigade with the support of other clubs.

Church Service and Morning Pint

The day begins at 10 a.m. with a Protestant church service, which also honors the work of the volunteer fire brigade. Afterwards, catering with pork knuckle and Weißwurst opens at 10:30 a.m., the classic start to a Bavarian-influenced festival day, which is also celebrated with pleasure in the Palatinate.

Palatinate Cuisine and Family Program

Throughout the day, there is a wide selection of Palatinate specialties, plus cake, coffee, and drinks. For children, there are age-appropriate activities, often including the opportunity to see a fire engine up close. The firefighters answer questions about fire safety and operations.

Blue Light Party to Conclude

The Blue Light Party with DJ starts at 9 p.m. Celebrations with current dance music take place amidst the typical decorations of a fire brigade festival, featuring blue lights and rescue equipment. The party is open to everyone and serves as a social meeting point for the younger generation in the Leiningerland.
