A Summer Festival with Village Charm

Allmersbach im Tal is located in the Rems-Murr district, east of Backnang, at the transition from the Swabian Forest to the Backnang Bay. With just under 5,000 inhabitants, the community is manageable, but its annual summer festival is one of the largest association events in the greater area. On July 4, 2026, the festival grounds at the end of Industriestraße will transform into an open festival meadow with a festival tent, beer garden, children's activity area, and stage – the prelude to a Württemberg summer weekend.

A Day in Three Acts

The program is divided into three phases: the morning and early afternoon are dedicated to families. From 11 AM to 5 PM, the free children's program runs – bouncy castles, bungee trampolines, glitter tattoos, craft stations around the local fruit orchard mobile, and performances by the "Swabian Forest Fairy" (2 PM to 4 PM). Afterward, in the late afternoon, the Rems-Murr Seniors' Orchestra takes the stage, providing atmospheric classics in a beer garden setting from 3:30 PM to 7 PM.

From Sports Program to SWR3 Party

As the sun sets, the summer festival shifts into party mode. At 7 PM, the round of 16 of the World Cup will be broadcast on a large screen – perfect for football fans who don't want to miss the festive atmosphere. Immediately after, DJ Josh Kochhann takes the stage from 7:30 PM, spinning a SWR3 party with pop, rock, and summer hits until midnight. Until midnight, the dance floor and beer garden will be buzzing – a snapshot of Allmersbach as a relaxed, exemplary town in the Rems-Murr district.

A special feature: the local industrial company Harro Höfliger – a specialist in packaging machines – opens its doors for "Open House" consultations from 11 AM to 3 PM. Thus, the summer festival combines classic association sociability with modern location marketing – an unusual concept in this form in the Backnang region.
