Three Days of Anniversary Celebration in a Franconian Club Village
The Kleinrinderfeld Marksmen's Club was founded in 1966 and has been one of the pillars of village life ever since. In 2026, the anniversary will be celebrated: 60 years of shooting sports, club life, and customs in the Würzburg district. The club currently operates a modern shooting range with 18 lanes featuring state-of-the-art Disag technology, an archery range with distances of 18, 30, 50, and 70 meters, and a convivial common room at the clubhouse.
From Friday, July 24th, to Sunday, July 26th, 2026, the celebration will take place. As is customary at major marksmen's anniversaries, the weekend will feature a marquee, a festive ceremony with honors for deserving members, the traditional festive parade of friendly clubs through the village, an ecumenical church service, as well as the proclamation of the king and shooting competitions. Regional brass bands will provide music, and evenings will be dedicated to dancing and socializing.
The club enters its anniversary year with King Tobias Keller and Queen of Marksmen Antonia Schraudt. The royal family will be complemented by youth and archery kings and queens, who will be ceremoniously presented in the marquee. Robin Spiegel, Bavarian Junior Champion with the air pistol, is representative of the small club's strong sporting tradition.
Kleinrinderfeld is located in the southwestern district of Würzburg, with the Main Triangle and the Tauber Valley in close proximity. The municipality thrives on a dense network of clubs: the music club, hiking club, TSV (sports club), volunteer fire department, and carnival club are all part of the fixed annual rhythm, just like the marksmen's club. Preparations for the 2026 anniversary are being made with full force, in keeping with this tradition.
Not only club members are invited, but all residents from Kleinrinderfeld and the neighboring towns of Geroldshausen, Reichenberg, Eisingen, or Höchberg. Marksmen's clubs from the entire Würzburg-Land shooting district will be guests. A long festive weekend in a genuine Lower Franconian inn and marquee atmosphere — sixty years of accuracy deserve sixty hours of celebration.
