Tradition since 1989
The Senior Day Salzgitter has been organized since 1989 and is one of the oldest and most important municipal senior events in southern Lower Saxony. The 38th edition in 2026 is under the motto "Together – safe and self-determined” – a guiding principle that combines social participation, protection against fraud, and self-determination in old age.
Date and Schedule
On Thursday, June 25, 2026, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., the Rathausvorplatz Lebenstedt will transform into a mix of an information fair, stage festival, and café garden. Approximately 40 to 60 stands will present offerings related to care, living in old age, health, culture, sports, travel, volunteer work, and digital services. The stage will feature performances by choirs, dance groups, solo artists, and presentations.
