Light installation and show with Georg Stengel on the Nauen open-air stage
Nauen, the town 30 km west of Berlin in the Havelland district, has reserved its open-air stage — an established venue with seating and technical equipment — as the location for the second edition of the '1000 Lichter Open Air' in 2026. Organizer TOBO Veranstaltungsservice is once again bringing a format that combines light installations, a laser show, and live music, following its successful premiere in 2025.
Georg Stengel is a German singer-songwriter from Berlin whose pop songs (including 'Du bist mein Glück') resonate with the younger mainstream generation. His performances are characterized by acoustic sets with piano, guitar, and his distinctive voice. On the Nauen open-air stage, he will be the musical centerpiece of an evening that thrives primarily on its visual staging.
The program combines music from the 80s, 90s, and 2000s with current hits — a DJ mix interspersed with Georg Stengel's live performance. Light installations will be spread across the open-air stage, and a laser show will provide visual accents. The promise: '1000 lights — a feeling you can't explain. You have to experience it.'
TOBO positions the event as intergenerational: families, seniors, young people, adults — everyone is welcome. This is the strength of the concept: no strict musical genre commitment, but rather an emotional, atmospheric staging.
Organizer TOBO Veranstaltungsservice is building on the same concept after its successful premiere in 2025: an intergenerational open-air evening that sells itself more on atmosphere than on the lineup. Georg Stengel as the headliner brings acoustic pop, nestled between DJ sets. Light installations and a laser show add visual accents that enhance the musical experience.
The Nauen open-air stage, with its seating capacity and technical equipment, provides the ideal backdrop for this format. Those traveling from Berlin can reach the venue in 35 minutes by RB14 — making the 1000 Lichter Open Air an attractive weekend alternative to Berlin's major festivals.
Freilichtbühne Nauen, Parkstraße 40, 14641 Nauen. Take the RB14 train from Berlin Hbf directly to Nauen in approx. 35 minutes, then a 10-minute walk. By car, take the B5 / B273.
Early Bird from €15. Advance sales via the official TOBO Veranstaltungsservice ticket shop.
