When the main season is long over, the Advent Festival transforms Zinnowitz's beach promenade into an atmospheric Christmas market. On the second Advent weekend, the festival attracts guests and locals from the Vorpommern-Greifswald district to the wintry Baltic Sea. The maritime backdrop gives the market a special character that distinguishes it from the large inner-city Christmas markets.

Regional Products and Delicacies

Regional vendors present their products at the market stalls – from arts and crafts to Christmas specialties. Mulled wine, pastries, and hearty treats provide the right Advent flair. Strolling along the decorated promenade is a fixed part of the pre-Christmas program for many visitors.

Fire Show and Live Music

A special highlight is the fire show on Saturday evening, which bathes the dark promenade in warm light. On Sunday, live music accompanies the market activities – singer Rafaela Kloubert provides atmospheric sounds.
