Street Food Festival as a City Event

Street food festivals have become popular formats in recent years: compact, accessible, culinarily diverse, and usually very photogenic. Wolfsburg brings the concept to the city centre — food trucks and stalls will be spread along Porschestraße and neighbouring squares, creating a convivial meeting space with standing tables and seating groups.

International Cuisine

Classic street food categories will be represented: American BBQ smokers and burgers, Mexican tacos and burritos, Asian bao buns, Korean bibimbap, Japanese gyoza, Vietnamese pho, Thai curry, Indian curries and naan, falafel and hummus from the Middle East, South American empanadas, Italian pizza, German classics, and sweet specialities from crêpes and churros to macarons.

Vegan and Vegetarian

The event ensures a balanced offering of vegetarian and vegan options — from bowls and tofu skewers to plant-based burgers. Sweet and sour bowls, grilled vegetables, and creative desserts will complement the offerings.

Shopping Sunday

On Sunday, November 1st, 2026, the city centre shops will open as part of a shopping Sunday. This combination of street food and shopping makes the weekend a strong draw for Wolfsburg's city centre.

Atmosphere

DJ sets, live music, standing tables, seating groups, and family activities create a relaxed festival atmosphere. Admission is free; payment is made at the stalls.
