Early summer wine festival in the spa town — June 12th to 14th, 2026
Bad Driburg, as a spa and health resort town, is traditionally known for its Gräflicher Park and its mineral springs. With the Winzerfest, the Bad Driburger Touristik GmbH has been adding a modern cultural accent since 2024 — the third edition in 2026 shows that the format has staying power.
Three days of wine enjoyment from Friday, June 12th to Sunday, June 14th, 2026 in the town center of Bad Driburg. The focus is on the pedestrian zone and the surrounding city area, which will be transformed into a compact wine landscape — with pavilions, standing tables, stage areas, and atmospheric lighting.
Winegrowers from several German wine-growing regions are invited — typically Rheinhessen, Pfalz, Mosel, Franken, Württemberg, Baden, with occasional participation from Saale-Unstrut and Ahr. Tastings are available on all days, with bottle sales at the pavilions. The focus is on: Riesling, Spätburgunder, Grauburgunder, Müller-Thurgau, Silvaner, as well as sparkling wines and rosé wines for the summer.
Food to pair with the wine: cheese, sausage, Flammkuchen, crêpes, tapas, regionally baked breads, ham. Stalls with regional products from the Höxterland and Teutoburg Forest will complement the market — honey, jams, liqueurs, brandies.
Live concerts on a stage in the town center all three days — Jazz, Soul, Acoustic Pop, Singer-Songwriter, with a more upbeat dance band often performing on Saturday evening. The program is family-friendly, accessible, and part of the spa town's summer event calendar.
A special feature for wine enthusiasts: the Winegrowers' Dinner on Friday, June 12th, 2026 in the historic Gräflicher Park, one of Northwest Germany's most significant landscape gardens. A three-course menu prepared by the park's own chefs, presented with wine pairings from eight participating winegrowers. Tickets available separately at bad-driburg.com.
Bad Driburg is located in the Höxter district in eastern Ostwestfalen, nestled between the Teutoburg Forest and the Eggegebirge. The spa town, with its approximately 18,000 inhabitants, has several mineral springs, the UNESCO-worthy Gräflicher Park (English landscape garden from 1782), and a vibrant city life. The Winegrowers' Festival fits harmoniously into this setting.
Pavilions from winegrowers, stage with live music (Jazz, Soul, Acoustic Pop in the evenings, lively dance bands on Saturday), stalls with regional products from the Höxterland.
