The Mirror Tent – A World of Its Own

Every winter, the Wintertheater Braunschweig performs in a historic mirror tent – a type of structure from the Belle Époque, made of wood, mirror glass, and velvet, of which only a few examples still exist worldwide today. Its setup directly next to the medieval St. Martin's Church makes the square, one of the city's oldest locations, a special venue: warm light inside, artistic mirrored surfaces, and an intimate tiered configuration, with the Romanesque church facade outside.

57 Performances Over Two Months

Over a performance period of approximately seven weeks, a total of 57 performances will be staged. The mix of in-house productions, guest performances, and special formats is deliberately broad: cabaret, comedy, songbook programs, tribute shows, Christmas themes, readings, and interactive formats.
