Third Wine Festival by the Winebrothers in Konrad-Adenauer-Park Bitburg — Wine in the Eifel
The Winebrothers Wine Festival in Bitburg brings the world of wine to the beer city of the Eifel. In the picturesque Konrad-Adenauer-Park, the Winebrothers traditionally present wines from selected vintners from Mosel, Saar, Ruwer, and the Palatinate in mid-August. The third edition, 'The Third', follows the concept of the successful previous years in 2026 — a relaxed wine festival under old park trees with live music, small dishes, and fine wines.
The event fills a gap in the traditionally beer-oriented festival culture of Bitburg and celebrates the geographical proximity to the wine-growing regions of the greater area. The exact date in 2026 will be announced by the organizer in early summer.
Bitburg is known nationwide for its brewing tradition — Bitburger Pils is a world-class German beer brand. All the more remarkable is the commitment of the Winebrothers Bitburg, who have been bringing a wine-dedicated festival to the city every year since 2024. The event fills a cultural gap and celebrates the fact that Bitburg is geographically only a short car ride away from the Mosel and the Saar — regions of world renown for Riesling and Burgundy cultivation.
The Konrad-Adenauer-Park in the heart of Bitburg offers the ideal backdrop: a well-kept city park with old trees, providing shade on warm August days and creating a relaxed open-air atmosphere. The Winebrothers set up several wine stands where wines are offered for tasting and by the glass. The focus is on Rieslings from the Mosel and Saar, along with Burgundies, Palatinate wines, and selected international vintages.
Live music with local and regional bands provides the right soundtrack, while food trucks and stalls offering cheese, sausage, and bread varieties form the culinary accompaniment. The atmosphere is familiar and relaxed — no grand staging, but cultivated enjoyment in pleasant company. Free admission, individual wines and dishes are paid for per consumption.
After the successful premiere in 2024 and the second edition in 2025 (August 15–16), the third edition is being prepared for 2026. The exact weekend will be published by the organizer in early summer 2026 — traditionally, the event is scheduled for the second half of August. Inquiries via email to [email protected].
The third edition of the Winebrothers Wine Festival in Bitburg is announced for August 2026. The exact date will be announced by the organizer in early summer 2026 and follows the proven tradition of a weekend in the second half of August. In the Konrad-Adenauer-Park, the Winebrothers' stands will again feature wines from Mosel, Saar, and Palatinate, along with live music, small dishes, and a relaxed summer atmosphere under park trees.
The Third — the nickname for the 2026 edition — builds on the first two festivals in 2024 and 2025. Conceptually, the Winebrothers remain true to themselves: no mass event, but cultivated wine enjoyment in the park, stage music at a moderate volume, and culinary accompaniment from selected providers.
The exact program for 2026 will be published by the organizer in early summer. The structure follows the proven cornerstones of previous years:
