Craft Beer by the North Sea

The Cuxhaven Craft Beer & Gourmet Festival is the young but rapidly growing sister of the Cuxhaven Wine Festival — this time in autumn, with a focus on beer and gourmet. The organizer is Nordseeheilbad Cuxhaven, and the venue is again the Kurpark in Döse, which provides an atmospheric backdrop with its autumn-colored chestnut trees.

3rd Edition from October 1st to 4th, 2026

The 2026 edition is the 3rd edition and takes place from Thursday, October 1st to Sunday, October 4th, 2026 — four days that coincide with the long weekend around German Unity Day.

Breweries from National to Local

The selection of breweries includes three levels:

• National — established German craft breweries
• International — imported beers from Belgian, British, and American breweries
• Local — including Bake Bier Cuxhaven, the regional brewery with its own assortment

More Than Just Beer

Beyond craft beer, the festival offers a gourmet spectrum: wine, cocktails, and non-alcoholic specialties complement the beer selection. The culinary stands offer food pairings to the beer and wine culture — from burgers and pizza to cheese, ham, and game dishes.

Live Music on the Outdoor Stage

In the evenings, the outdoor stage provides live music in rock and handmade style. Acoustic singer-songwriter sets alternate with bands, creating a atmospheric accompaniment to the tastings.

The entire Kurpark is available — the spacious grounds also offer families room to stroll, play, and relax. This makes the festival not only a meeting point for beer enthusiasts but also suitable for weekend trips with the whole family.

The Kurpark Döse shows its most colorful phase in October — autumnal, mild, atmospheric. Cuxhaven as a travel destination in October: quieter than in summer, with fog over the Wadden Sea, clear days, and a long evening atmosphere in the Kurpark.
