Atmospheric wine festival in Trier's Brunnenhof with six Mosel winemakers and live stage
Wine Fever Trier is the younger generation of Trier's wine festivals — set against the World Heritage backdrop of the Brunnenhof next to the Porta Nigra, but with a distinctly curated approach and a target audience under 40. Instead of a broad festival mile offering, there is a selection of six renowned Trier and Mosel winemakers serving high-quality Riesling, Pinot, and Elbling wines. The stage in the Brunnenhof offers a different musical profile each evening.
Thursday evening kicks off the festival with the Wine Bachelor — an entertaining tasting competition where guests crown the 'best winemaker' based on sensory tests. This is followed by an after-party with DJ sets. Friday focuses on Electric Sunset: a DJ night with electronic music in the open-air setting of the Brunnenhof. Saturday concludes with a concert by the Tonwerk Band, playing pop and soul standards. Tickets are sold via the Skyrocket Ticketing platform.
The 2026 edition follows the established three-day format. In Trier's World Heritage anniversary year, the festival will also benefit from increased attention for the Brunnenhof as a venue. The lineup of confirmed wineries includes established Trier addresses as well as top Mosel producers.
