Exclusive sales exhibition in the state rooms and pavilions of the Monrepos lakeside palace near Ludwigsburg
The Landpartie at Schloss Monrepos is one of Southern Germany's most renowned lifestyle sales exhibitions. The organizer is TheWeekend agency, which specializes in high-quality open-air sales fairs in historic palace grounds. Over four days, 180 hand-picked exhibitors present a curated selection ranging from fashion and accessories to delicacies, interior design, garden and home accessories, and arts and crafts.
The venue is Schloss Monrepos — Duke Friedrich II of Württemberg had it built in the 18th century on the shore of the lake named after him, giving it the name "Monrepos" ("my rest"). The white palace building by the lake is one of Baden-Württemberg's most beautiful pleasure palaces. During the Landpartie, the state rooms are opened for sales and receptions, while elegant white pavilions are erected around the lake where exhibitors present their collections — a unique setting between Baroque architecture, the lake, and old trees.
The atmosphere of the Landpartie is shaped by several elements: exhibitors from the fashion, home, garden, and lifestyle worlds, floral arrangements as a constantly changing display, live music of soul and jazz on a stage in the palace park, and a curated presentation of rare classic cars, which is newly compiled each year. Catering with regional specialties completes the offering — from savory dishes to patisserie. The audience comes from all over Southern Germany and appreciates the mix of shopping, scenery, and enjoyment.
Ludwigsburg (district town of the Ludwigsburg district, AGS 08118, around 95,000 inhabitants) is located north of Stuttgart and, with Ludwigsburg Residential Palace, the "Blühendes Barock" (Blooming Baroque) garden exhibition, and the Seeschloss Monrepos, boasts one of Southern Germany's most beautiful palace landscapes. The TheWeekend Landpartien also take place in Bremen (from 2026), Cologne (from 2027), and Munich (from 2028) — Monrepos has been the southern German flagship of the series for years.
From Thursday, May 7, to Sunday, May 10, 2026, 180 hand-picked exhibitors will present their collections around the ducal lakeside palace Monrepos near Ludwigsburg. The sales exhibition is spread across the palace's state rooms and elegant white pavilions in the surrounding park.
