Wincent Weiss – Pop Voice of a Generation
Since the release of “Musik sein" in 2016, Wincent Weiss (born 1993 in Bad Oldesloe) has been one of Germany's most successful pop artists. With hits like “Feuerwerk", “Wer wenn nicht wir", “Hier mit dir", and “An Wunder", he has established a melodic, often introspective pop style that works equally well on big stages and on the radio. His live performances are considered emotional summer evening pop concerts – which suits the SparkassenPark.
When and Where is the Concert?
Wincent Weiss will perform on Saturday, August 1, 2026, at SparkassenPark Mönchengladbach. Admission from 6:00 PM, start at 8:00 PM. LINA is confirmed as the support act.
Setlist – What to Expect
Based on experience, Wincent Weiss plays a mix of established hits and new material from the album “Irgendwo Ankommen". Typical setlist songs:
- “Musik sein" – the hit from 2016
- “Feuerwerk" – stadium anthem
- “Wer wenn nicht wir" – album highlight
- “An Wunder" – current track
- “Hier mit dir" – a summer favorite track
- New songs from the album “Irgendwo Ankommen"
Weiss stated in a pre-release statement that concerts are "the most beautiful place in the world" for him, where audience and artists connect through live music – this also shapes the show in Mönchengladbach.
SparkassenPark Mönchengladbach
The SparkassenPark is one of the most important open-air venues in NRW. Several concerts take place on the grounds around Hennes-Weisweiler-Allee in the summer: pop, rock, Schlager, comedy. The area offers around 14,000 places (standing and numbered seats), a modern main stage, and very good acoustics under the open sky.
Tickets and Accessibility
Tickets via Eventim. Wheelchair tickets were sold out at the time the website was published; accessible seating for people with severe disabilities (70% or more with proof) is available upon request – a free accompanying person is possible. WDR2 is the presenter and handles media coverage.
Mönchengladbach – Open-Air City on the Lower Rhine
With around 260,000 inhabitants, Mönchengladbach is the second-largest city on the Lower Rhine and is known primarily for its football club Borussia and its textile industry. The SparkassenPark, located directly next to Borussia-Park, has established itself as a fixture in the NRW concert summer in recent years – Wincent Weiss fits seamlessly into this lineup.
