Three-day wine festival in the spa gardens with views of Rheingrafenstein and the Kurmittelhaus
Bad Münster am Stein-Ebernburg was an independent town until 2014, before being incorporated into Bad Kreuznach. The former spa town is picturesquely situated at the confluence of the Nahe and Alsenz rivers, framed by the striking rocks of Rheingrafenstein and Ebernburg. The historic spa gardens with their tree-lined avenues, the Kurmittelhaus, and the playgrounds are one of the main attractions of the town.
The Rheingrafenstein is a steep porphyry rock, about 130 meters high, on whose plateau the ruins of Rheingrafenstein Castle are enthroned. The rock can be seen in all its glory from the spa gardens, making Wein im Park one of the most atmospherically impressive wine events on the Nahe. At sunset, the rock turns reddish, a sight that accompanies the festival.
Vintners from the Nahe wine-growing region present their wines. Riesling, Spätburgunder, Weißburgunder, Grauburgunder, and regional specialties are served. The stalls are spread throughout the spa gardens, allowing visitors to stroll through the historic grounds while tasting.
Dance music provides the atmosphere on all three days of the festival. Cover bands and acoustic groups play on the stage in the park, and the audience dances among the trees or listens from the benches. Food is available at the catering stands, ranging from bratwurst and tarte flambée to salads and sweet specialties.
The 2026 edition continues the tradition of the Bad Münster wine festival on the last weekend of July. The spa gardens, with their view of the Rheingrafenstein, offer one of the most beautiful venues for a wine festival in the Nahe region.
The exact program for 2026, including participating vintners and stage lineup, will be published in the summer. The structure follows the proven key points of previous years.
