The Christmas market in front of Rathaus Wilmersdorf falls into the latter category: a one-day St. Nicholas' market organized by the Charlottenburg-Wilmersdorf district office in collaboration with local artisans and traders.

The Rathaus Wilmersdorf at Fehrbelliner Platz is a striking National Socialist administrative building from the 1940s, now home to the Charlottenburg-Wilmersdorf district office. For one afternoon, the market enlivens the otherwise rather stern, official square. Located in the Wilmersdorf district, it's well-connected by U-Bahn lines U2, U3, and U7 (Fehrbelliner Platz station) – one of the few squares with three U-Bahn lines at a single station.
