Show Circus at the Highest Level
The Weihnachtscircus Braunschweig has established itself as one of Lower Saxony's most successful show events in its previous seasons. Instead of a classic traveling circus with its own permanent ensemble, the Weihnachtscircus focuses on the show format: top international artists are brought together for a specially curated production – with dramaturgical staging, live music, and elaborate lighting and stage technology.
"Let it SHOW 3"
The 2026/27 season is titled "Let it SHOW 3" – the third edition of this show brand. On the ring are world champion artists from international festival competitions as well as winners of the Festival Mondial du Cirque de Monte Carlo, the most prestigious award in the circus industry.
Family Program
The program is explicitly designed as a family program: acrobatics and high-wire acts provide adrenaline, clown and comedy acts ensure laughter, and festive music and show choreographies create the mood. The show is animal-free and primarily focused on human top performances.
Schützenplatz as Location
The venue is the Schützenplatz on Hamburger Straße. Its location directly on public transport and within walking distance of hotels makes the site particularly visitor-friendly. Ticket sales start at 12:00 PM at the circus box office or online via the organizer's website.

"Let it SHOW 3" – 2026/27 Season
The 2026/27 season starts on Thursday, December 17, 2026, and runs until Saturday, January 3, 2027. This allows the Weihnachtscircus to cover the entire period between Christmas and New Year – traditionally the period with the highest demand for show circus.
The venue is once again the Schützenplatz on Hamburger Straße.
