Schützenfest Burhave — Club Festival on the North Sea

The Schützenfest of SV Burhave is one of the traditional club events in the Burhave district of the municipality of Butjadingen. Unlike many large marksmen's festivals in the region, SV Burhave focuses on a manageable, family-friendly festival that primarily appeals to members and the local community. At the same time, the festival is open to guests — holidaymakers on the North Sea are welcome.

Classic Festival Day

The festival follows the classic schedule: Assembly of the marksmen with a welcome by the board, marksmen's march through Burhave, king's shooting among eligible members, and the festive proclamation of the new marksmen's king. This is followed by the king's dinner, a dance evening with a live band, and a family program.

In the otherwise tourist-dominated landscape of Burhave — known for its beach, spa operations, and family holidays — the Schützenfest is an important social anchor.
