75 Years of Rhade Women's Association

The Rhade Women's Association was founded in 1951 and celebrates its 75th anniversary in 2026. Three generations of dedicated women from the village of Rhade and its districts have organized educational work, cultural preservation, social assistance, excursions, cooking classes, lectures, and community projects over seven decades. The association is part of the Lower Saxony-Bremen Women's Association and the Rotenburg-Verden district association.

Motto: We Rock in Rockstedt

The motto “We Rock in Rockstedt” combines the association's voluntary self-image with a tongue-in-cheek musical accent. The venue is the community center in Rockstedt, a neighboring district of the Selsingen municipality. Live music, dancing, and a festive atmosphere will characterize the evening.

Festive Setting

The event will begin with a formal ceremony including a welcome by the board, greetings from the Selsingen municipality, the district association, and friendly associations. Honors for long-standing members with 25, 40, 50, and more years of membership will recall the continuity of club life. Afterwards, the musical program will commence, and guests will gather over a lavish buffet and cool drinks.

Voluntary Work in Rural Areas

Women's Associations play an important role in the rural areas of Lower Saxony. They contribute to further education, networking of women of all generations, cultural preservation, and social support. The anniversary in Rhade is an occasion to publicly honor this commitment.
