Watt mit Kultur is an idea by Wangerland Touristik in cooperation with Landesbühne Niedersachsen Nord. The concept: to bring high-quality cultural productions from the fields of theatre, cabaret, and music to atmospheric open-air locations that possess a special appeal even without the performances.

Horumersiel Spa Garden and Schilliger Dune

The spa garden in Horumersiel is a protected green space in the middle of the village and offers an intimate stage setting. The Schilliger Dune, with the Circus Axo's performance tent, is the second venue, where a Mediterranean beach atmosphere meets high-quality stage art.

June 12, 2026 – Goethe und die Frauen

The season opens with a theatre production that entertainingly explores Goethe's relationships with the significant women in his life – a summer evening blending classicism, wit, and depth.

June 19, 2026 – Herr von Laun und Herr Faupel Cabaret

Jeffrey von Laun and Stefan Faupel come to the North Sea with their program Herr von Laun und Herr Faupel sind schlecht vorbereitet. Witty political cabaret that proves its class precisely through its apparent lack of preparation.

June 26, 2026 – The Golden Coats

The season concludes with the folk trio The Golden Coats. Multi-part harmonies, acoustic instruments, and a repertoire spanning country, folk, and soul – a perfect summer evening to round off the series.
