On four Thursday evenings in June 2026 — the 4th, 11th, 18th, and 25th of June — the St. Pankratius church forecourt in Warstein transforms into a free open-air stage. Professional cover bands will play each evening from 7 PM to 10 PM: The 80s90s Liveband (June 4th), THE SERVANTS (June 11th), MANIAC (June 18th), and SHARKS (June 25th). By car: A44 or A46 exit Soest or Warstein, then follow signs for the town centre. Parking in surrounding multi-storey car parks.

WarsteinLive is one of the most successful free open-air concert series in the Sauerland region: four Thursday evenings in June, each featuring a high-quality cover band or tribute act, always starting at 7:00 PM until 10:00 PM, always on the St. Pankratius church forecourt in downtown Warstein. The 2026 programme includes four concerts on June 4th, 11th, 18th, and 25th, 2026.

Thursday, June 4th, 2026 — The 80s90s Liveband: Nostalgia cover band with the greatest hits of the 80s and 90s. Sponsor: Infineon Technologies.
Thursday, June 11th, 2026 — THE SERVANTS: Classic rock specialists with over 50 years of stage experience. Sponsor: Volksbank Hellweg eG.
Thursday, June 18th, 2026 — MANIAC: Cover band from Paderborn with rock and pop hits from five decades. Sponsor: AEG Power Solutions.
Thursday, June 25th, 2026 — SHARKS: Participating for the fifth consecutive year, rock hits from three decades. Sponsor: Sparkasse Hellweg-Lippe.

Success Record and Concept

The series has been a complete success since its establishment: Around 15,000 visitors at the previous 15 events — averaging 1,000 visitors per concert. The concept is convincing due to:

Drinks System and Card Payment

Warstein in the Sauerland

Warstein is a town with around 25,000 inhabitants in the Soest district in North Rhine-Westphalia, located in the northeastern Sauerland. The town is known regionally as the home of the Warsteiner Brewery — one of Germany's largest private breweries. St. Pankratius Church in the town centre, with its large forecourt, forms the town's natural stage for open-air events like WarsteinLive.
