Community Creates Festival

The Wallstraßenfest Edewecht is one of those typical Ammerland street festivals organized by the residents themselves. The venue is Wallstraße and the adjacent Theilens Kamp, which become a car-free pedestrian zone for one day.

13th Edition on June 14, 2026

The 13th edition will take place on Sunday, June 14, 2026, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.. The core is a summer and hobby flea market where residents and hobby exhibitors from the Ammerland region offer bric-a-brac, homemade items, books, toys, and summer clothing.

More Than Just a Flea Market

In addition to the flea market itself, small snack stands, coffee and cake offerings from residents, a children's area with hands-on activities, and small musical interludes are part of the program. The festival has a distinctly local character and is a meeting point for people from Edewecht and surrounding districts.
