Classic Village Festival in the Harz Foreland

The Volksfest Groß Quenstedt is one of the many classic village festivals that have a tradition in the northern Harz foothills of Saxony-Anhalt. The venue is the Dorfanger (village green) or the adjacent Schulweg in Groß Quenstedt – a meeting point for the village community for generations. Like many summer festivals in the region, the Volksfest Groß Quenstedt is organized on a voluntary basis by a group of local clubs.

Groß Quenstedt belongs to the Vorharz municipality in the Harz district in Saxony-Anhalt and is located north of the cathedral city of Halberstadt.
