For one day, the historic centre of Berchtesgaden transforms into a large stage: at the Vogelwuids Music Festival, over 100 musicians play on several stages across all styles – from folk music to indie, rock, and pop, to classical and jazz. In addition, courtyard concerts, a dedicated children's festival, and numerous street food and drink stands. Organised by the Aktive Unternehmen Berchtesgaden, the "Vogelwuids" is a lively, family-friendly town festival in the Berchtesgadener Land region.

Getting There

Berchtesgaden is located in the Berchtesgadener Land district in the far southeast of Bavaria. Accessible by train (Berchtesgaden station) and via the B305/B20 federal roads. The festival takes place in the historic centre around the Weihnachtsschützenplatz.
