Whitsun in Rheiderland
Ditzumerverlaat is located in the heart of Rheiderland, the western tip of East Frisia on the Ems river. The district of the municipality of Weener is small but tradition-conscious and committed. The Verlaatjer Pfingstmarkt is its most important Volksfest and is reliably organized year after year by the local association and the municipality. Unlike the large markets in Bunde or Weener, the festival focuses on a few intensive days.
