Sports Club Tradition
The 54th edition of the club sports festival shows: Club sports are taken seriously in Schladen. For over five decades, MTV Jahn Schladen has been organizing the open sports festival, where not only its own members but also club athletes from the entire Wolfenbüttel district and beyond compete. This makes the format more than just a club event – it is a regional club sports summit.
Open Format
The "open" in the name means that clubs not belonging to MTV Jahn can also participate. This openness has led to growing participation in the sports festival over the years and has created a character that represents the DNA of German club sports: competition in a supportive atmosphere, with genuine recognition across club boundaries.
Program and Atmosphere
The exact sports program varies from year to year; classic events include athletics disciplines, team competitions, and comparison contests between friendly clubs. Accompanying club catering, music, and a family program ensure that the sports festival is also attractive for spectators and accompanying family members.
MTV Jahn Schladen
MTV Jahn Schladen is a traditional sports club with several departments, ranging from gymnastics, athletics, and football to other disciplines. The open sports festival is the annual highlight of club life – a day on which the club celebrates itself and welcomes guests.
