Updreihn Festival

Updreihn is one of Oldenburg's most consistent independent festivals. Since 2017, a non-profit team has organized the indoor festival with a clear program line: Ska, Punk, Rock’n’Roll. Five bands, one evening, one location in the Utfahrt area of the city center.

Utfahrt Area as Festival Location

The Utfahrt area is located in the Oldenburg city center and houses several event locations and independent cultural venues. Updreihn utilizes these indoor capacities — a format that combines festival character with manageable size.

Five Bands

Five bands are on the lineup. The selection follows the genre-typical orientation — Ska bands with brass sections and danceable energy, Punk bands with a clear stance and fast playing style, Rock’n’Roll acts with a nod to the roots of popular music.

Since 2017
