Tractor Pulling — The North German Folk Sport

Tractor pulling is a popular folk sport in the rural communities of Northern Germany. In this competition, tractors — from small hobby tractors to modified high-performance machines — pull a braking sled, which shifts more and more weight onto the tractor's axle as the distance increases. Whoever manages the longest distance before the wheels spin or the engine stalls wins their weight and performance class.

In Lutzhorn — Trecker-Treck-Team as Organizer

The TTT Lutzhorn (Trecker Treck Team) organizes the event at the end of the village called "Reihe" in Lutzhorn. Competitors from the Pinneberg district and surrounding districts compete against each other — from standard tractor classes to modified hobby tractors with special tires and weight-optimized trailers.

Lutzhorn is a small municipality in the Pinneberg district, northwest of Pinneberg in the Pinneberg Geest. The Trecker Treck Lutzhorn is one of the most important folk sport events in the municipality and attracts tractor fans from all over the Pinneberg district and the neighboring Steinburg/Pinneberg area.
