Oldenburg State Theatre Ball

The Theatre Ball is one of the most elegant gala events in Oldenburg's cultural calendar. What began in 2018 with the first edition has established itself as a social highlight in just a few years – tickets are regularly snapped up quickly.

Motto 2026: "More amore per favore"

The motto picks up on Valentine's Day, when the ball takes place in 2026, and gives the event an Italian-romantic flair. Decorations, program items, and food offerings reflect the motto.

Grand Theatre as a Ballroom

The Grand Theatre of the Oldenburg State Theatre is elaborately converted for the ball. Instead of fixed seating, dance floors, seating areas, bars, and lounges are created. The foyer and adjacent rooms are integrated into the ball concept.

Big Band "Dani Felber"

The main musical act is the Big Band "Dani Felber". Dani Felber is an internationally renowned Swiss trumpeter and bandleader whose Big Band delivers swing, jazz standards, and danceable repertoire perfect for the ballroom atmosphere.

"Dynamite Tonite"

As a second band, "Dynamite Tonite" provides modern pop and dance music for the later part of the evening. The alternation between the bands keeps the dance floor lively throughout.

Schedule

• 7:30 PM: Admission with champagne reception
• Approx. 9 PM: Official ball opening
• Throughout the evening: Dancing, mingling, buffet
• Midnight: Midnight show as the highlight
• Until 4 AM: Dancing into the early morning hours
