Run along the Hache
The Hache is the river that gives Syke its name – derived from the Low German word Sieke (small watercourse). The Hachelauf uses the riverbank and the city center as the route, creating a running event with a local character. The mix of a natural route along the Hache and an urban atmosphere in the city center makes the run varied.
Routes: 5 km and 10 km
Two routes are offered: 5 km and 10 km. Both are completed on a 2.5 km circuit – the 5 km runners complete two laps, the 10 km runners complete four laps. The circuit format has the advantage that spectators can see the runners multiple times and the atmosphere remains intense.
TuS Syke as Organizer
TuS Syke has been organizing the Hachelauf annually since 2019. What began as a small club event has rapidly developed into an established running event in the northern district of Diepholz. The 6th edition will be held in 2026.
Registration and Tickets
Register via syker-hachelauf.de. Starting fees and registration deadlines will be published by the organizer in good time. Early registration is recommended as the number of participants is limited.
