The Teufelstischtrail takes place on the same weekend – trail running in the Felsenland. A hike to the nearby Teufelstisch (landmark of the Wasgau) is ideal as a day program before the Open Air.
Club Summer in Hinterweidenthal
Hinterweidenthal is a small municipality in the southern Dahner Felsenland, known primarily for the Teufelstisch – a spectacular sandstone formation that is one of the landmarks of the Wasgau region. Despite its manageable population, the village's club life is unusually active, and the SVH Open Air is its musical flagship. The SV Hinterweidenthal sports club is behind the event, often in cooperation with TV Hinterweidenthal, which celebrates its annual "Musiksommer" (Music Summer) concurrently.
Open Air on the Teufelstisch Weekend
The date – July 11, 2026 – is deliberately chosen: it falls on the weekend of the Teufelstischtrail, the regionally known trail running competition that brings numerous runners and spectators to Hinterweidenthal.
