Cocktail, Burger and Live Music Event on the Market Square
With the Summertails format, Stadtoldendorf has found a summery answer to the desire for urban open-air ambiance on a small scale. The market square becomes the stage for a convivial summer evening that combines cocktail culture, street food, and live music.
The Balaneiros Bar is an established cocktail address in the region and provides the beverage offerings. Classics like Mojito, Caipirinha, and Aperol Spritz alternate with creative house specialties. The bar becomes a meeting point for everyone who wants to end the summer evening in style.
The beverage offerings are complemented by a burger selection that rounds off the culinary concept. Juicy patties, fresh side dishes, and vegetarian options appeal to a broad audience. High tables and improvised seating turn the market square into a convivial outdoor space.
The musical backdrop is provided by Ron Philipps, a solo artist known in the region with a repertoire of singer-songwriter material, cover songs, and acoustic interpretations of well-known hits. His performance sets the tone for the evening: relaxed, high-quality, and appealing to all generations.
With free admission, Summertails is understood as an intergenerational meeting point for the residents of Stadtoldendorf and guests from the surrounding area. The short duration from 4:00 PM to 10:00 PM makes the evening a perfect late summer highlight.
The 2026 edition continues the proven summer format. With its fixed date at the beginning of September, Summertails marks the relaxed transition into late summer and has become a regular meeting point for generations.
