Stadtrummel Bremervörde

New Format Starting in Autumn

The Stadtrummel Bremervörde was conceived as the successor to the classic autumn market. While the old autumn market focused exclusively on showmen, the Stadtrummel combines the showmen's offerings with Sunday shopping and an additional bargain market. In this way, the city and the business association are responding to the changing needs of the city center and creating an attractive occasion to visit Bremervörde's city center on the weekend of the Day of German Unity.

Funfair

Around 70 showman businesses will be spread across Neue Straße, Bahnhofstraße, and the market square. Classic rides such as carousels, chain swings, bumper cars, and giant slides, along with game stalls, shooting galleries, candy stalls with cotton candy, almonds, and gingerbread hearts, as well as a diverse gastronomic offer with bratwurst, fries, crêpes, pizza, burgers, potato pancakes, mushrooms, and mulled wine for the cool October evenings, characterize the scene.

Sunday Shopping

On Sunday, October 4th, 2026, Bremervörde's city center shops will open their doors for Sunday shopping. Special promotions, fashion shows, live music in the streets, and special window displays will attract thousands of visitors to stroll through the city.

Bargain Market

Parallel to Sunday shopping, itinerant traders and flea market vendors will set up their stalls. Textiles, household goods, jewelry, toys, tools, and curiosities will change hands at attractive prices.

Bremervörde in Autumn

Bremervörde, the town between Geest and Marsch in the district of Rotenburg (Wümme), is an attractive destination with its Vörder See lake, historic city center, and Bachmann Museum. The Stadtrummel on the Unity Weekend fits into the autumnal city life and marks the end of the open-air season.
